Abstract:
No library however large can be completely self-sufficient in terms of its resources to meet the
need of its users using only the document from its collection. Due to increasing amount of
knowledge and greater diversity in demands, it is becoming increasingly difficult for a library to
meet the demand of its own users. Library through cooperation can meet the needs of the users
more effectively and efficiently. Libraries can improve the availability, access and utilize the
available resources to the optimum level. The study population is 45 library staff members. A
simple random of the sample of the population is applied in this study. Sample of the study is 40%
of the population. Research instrument of this study include, questionnaires, observations
and interviews. Significance of the study is to seek library cooperation so that maximum use can
be made of minimum resources.
